Come see why The Royal Crest Room is the most sought after charming social and corporate meeting venue. Our 4,000 square foot ballroom provides you with everything needed to create a successful social or corporate event.

Want to take it outdoors? Perhaps our Outdoor Terrace with market lighting is just the answer. We have two different patios with firepit areas as well for ‘smores if that’s what you’re interested in! Our Stone Bridge Tavern is also available for smaller groups. Many a birthday celebration has been hosted in our beautiful restaurant.

We can accommodate groups from 10 to 300, with presentation equipment, menu options ranging from continental breakfast to elegant evening dining menus. Let our professional catering staff carry out your requests.

Because all Memorable Events begin with careful planning, our team of professionally trained catering experts is here for you to assist in planning each detail of your Special Event from beginning to end.

 

We work closely with you to plan an Event that suits your taste and budget, to design appropriate room arrangements, to supervise final preparations and to meet any other needs your Event requires. Our chefs use only the freshest meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits and other natural ingredients to prepare our expansive menus or your special requests. From preparation to presentation, your meal will be one to remember.

Just start your planning by looking over our delicious menus and if you don’t see something that you are imagining — just let us know. Our Culinary Team is happy to customize a menu just for you. Three-course meals, heavy hors d’oeuvre receptions, dessert parties, you name it — we can dream it up! You will have your own personal Menu Tasting with an Event Manager to narrow down your desired menu and discuss your plans with us, after booking your Event with us.

WHAT IS A CELEBRATION OF LIFE?

Each of us is unique and has a special story to tell. A celebration of life is a personal and meaningful event to pay tribute to a life lived. – Dignity

In recent years, more and more people are seeking to break from tradition and opt for a colorful celebration of life. A final tribute. A time together perhaps immediately following the more formal funeral — or a day or month later, when things may have settled down a little more and family & friends can arrange to travel to gather.

A celebration of life is another way of saying goodbye to a loved one that reflects the joy someone brought to the lives of others. This event places the emphasis on celebrating happy memories. It’s all about reflecting who they were in life and how they will live on, in people’s hearts and minds.

As you think of the kind of celebration that best fits your loved one—or yourself, if you are planning ahead—remember that you may consider a simple tribute or a more elaborate event. Releases

You may choose to release doves, balloons or butterflies in a symbolic gesture of remembrance. For balloon releases, friends and family may also write personal notes of remembrance. 

Sharing a Video Tribute 

The ballroom at The Royal Crest Room has a large projector and screen available for video tributes — which are a great addition to a Celebration of Life! There is nothing like the images and music together to honor a life well lived.  

Music

Music plays a role in all of our lives, most definitely at a touching event like a Celebration of Life. Remember a favorite song, a meaningful piece, a favorite instrument — or consider even a live musical performance in your favorite style. The Royal Crest Room can assist in finding the right DJ or live musicians to play at your Celebration of Life.

Food

When designing a menu with your Event Manager, consider including special dishes or drinks on the menu. Special family recipes can be shared in unique ways; flavors and dishes from a hometown are a perfect ‘smile’ for the Celebration. Choosing the food and drink is a great way to set a tone and pay homage to your loved one’s heritage or their simple love of particular dishes or desserts!

Transportation

As you plan the memorial service for yourself or a loved one, keep in mind that incorporating things like motorcycles, classic cars or a horse-drawn carriage can be a nice touch for the event. The outdoor locations at The Royal Crest Room provide more ability to be creative like this.
